The B. Ed. is a two year course and it is governed by the following regulations in the college:
ATTENDANCE OF STUDENTS
Regular attendance is compulsory for each and every student. A candidate to be eligible to appear in the final examination shall have 80% attendance for course work and practicum, and 90% attendance for school internship and above.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
Our faculties are well skilled to convey the classes throughout the entire course in Bengali and English too.
EXAMINATION
Examinations are designed to test the knowledge of students and understanding of the courses that they have followed. Our college frequently tests tutorial classes, examination like unit test, pre-test and test.
DURATION OF COURSE AND WORKING DAYS
The duration of the course is 200 (two hundred) working days each year, exclusive of the period of the examination and admission. The school internship will be for a minimum 20 weeks for two years programme (4weeks in the first year and 16 weeks in the second year). The terminal University examination is held on completion of instruction in the concerned academic session/year. The college works minimum of thirty six hours in a week (five days) during which physical presence in the college of all the teachers is necessary to ensure their availability for individual advice, guidance, dialogue and consultation as and when need arises.
